CE 8: We missed CE for mass this
morning.

"The Great Stone House" independently then answered questions.
Students will not be allowed to enter class on Tuesday until they have shown me
their entrance slip.

CE 7: After brainstorming different
community types, the students met in groups to answer questions. A large
group discussion followed. We wrote some notes to help us remember what
healthy communities look like.
Communities
·
All
communities have stories
·
Individuals
truly belong to the extent that they know the community and consider its story
their own
·
True
communities are active. Members take actions because they are members
·
Individuals
feel part of a community to the extent that they participate in the community’s
activity
·
All
communities place expectations on their members
·
All
communities offer some benefits to their members
·
A
healthy community enables its members to grow in wholeness
PAA 8: We sewed in the lab. The
sweaters are really starting to come together...literally.
ELA 8: After combining their two
stanzas from yesterday to create group poems, the girls had time to finish the
good copy of their fable. The poems and fables are due Wednesday.
