ELA 8: Finished "What I do best..." speeches and read. Worked on champion research in the computer lab.
ELA 7: Prepared for Variety Night audition.
SCI 7: Notes on particle theory. Read Mixing It Up (page 135) and worked on Communicate #1-3.
PAA 12: Sewing continued. Remember your on-task mark.

ELA 9: Work period for writing poem about a special place
ELA 8: What I do best speeches continued. We will finish up presentations tomorrow and work on researching our champion.
ELA 7: Variety night practice
PAA 12: Recycle project continued
SCI 7: We worked on particle theory songs and performed. Ask your daughter to show you her song. They were awesome.

CE 7: Presented "Normal Grade 7" collage for 1/2 the class and worked on variety night act for other 1/2.
ELA 8: What I do best speeches continued. Reminder that Grace, Mykayla, Rachel, Sian, Hayley, Summer, Jess, Saraishnee, Hannah, and Hart will present tomorrow. Depending on time, some girls may be bumped to Friday. We will have more class time to work on the 3/4 page Champion assignment next week.
ELA 9: Discussed poems read in last class. Co-constructed criteria for a good poem and began writing a poem about a special place (3 stanzas with 4 lines each).
ELA 7: Peer edited personal narratives with focus on co-constructed criteria developed in class.
Sci 7: Finished Types of Matter graphic organizer. Went outside to act out Particle Theory .
PAA 12: Continued work on recycled sewing. Please remember all supplies like bobbins, thread, and seam ripper as a part of your mark is being prepared and using class time.
