ELA 7: The classes have been working on character sketches. Next week we will begin a novel study. I am so excited.
CE 7: Work on the comic strips about being whole continued Monday and Tuesday. After starting a self-improvement diamond poem, we learned a new song. The class will be exploring different types of communities and how they fit into them.
CE 9: Review of the beatitudes through a Beatitudes Burger activity.
CE 20: We continued to explore the question "Who is Jesus?" and began learning about the Holy Spirit.
Sewing 8: We have been learning how to sew buttons. After pushing through the frustrating beginning stages, the students are doing great work. No more excuses for missing buttons!

Sept.8- Sept.11
CEH 7: The class informally presented their coat of arms and met in small groups to discuss some personal interview questions. We took a personality quiz to find out a little more about ourselves and how we can use that information to understand and work well with others.
CE 9: We looked closely at the Beatitudes and applied them to our daily lives.
CE 20: The girls worked on their Prayer Booklets.
Sewing 8: After tracing out the sweater pattern, the class practiced threading the sewing machine and sewing straight stitches.
ELA 7: We worked on "Some Days You're the Puppy" questions. After doing a frontloading activity, we read "The Adventurous Life of John Goddard" and started to create our own To Do List.
