Vancouver

I went to Vancouver with my two best friends from university.  The trip was a way for us to celebrate our first year as teachers.  It was so fun and we were blessed with great weather; it only rained one day! As you can imagine, we shopped until we ran out of money and power walked everywhere.  We went to the aquarium, Stanley Park, Sunset Beach, English Bay Beach, China Town and even stumbled onto East Hastings.  I wasn't allowed to navigate after our near brush with danger.  It was such a great trip.
These are baby jellyfish and they were adorable.
I was beyond excited when I saw this. Notice my Vana White smile.  It's a fossil of the coelacanth fish that was on the grade seven's final exam. This is what it looks like ladies!
We thought there would be a huge line to go to the Wet Lab so we lingered by the door for 45 minutes.  Our waiting was in vain as only three other people showed up.  We asked really nice so the man let us hold the star fishes.  We were very excited.
There were some beautiful totem poles in Stanley Park.
The trees were humongous!
I'm not sure what these statues were supposed to represent, but we loved them.
